Bahrain’s Best Playgrounds

We spend a fair share of time at playgrounds with our little dude and it was definitely a new adventure uncovering Bahrain’s hidden playground gems. This is a list of some of our favorite indoor and outdoor playgrounds that we have enjoyed with our boy since being in Bahrain.

This list goes from best to worst from our experiences!

  1. Bahrain Dino Park: Our favorite by far, but it has been closed recently. Dinosaurs, Playgrounds, walking paths, picnic areas, and baby cats!
  2. City Center Mall: Ball playground (We don’t know what to call this magical wonderland in City Center Mall) But, it is right beside Raising Cane’s and one of our favorite playgrounds to play with Milo at.
  3. Prince Khalifah Bin Salman Park
  4. Dohat Arad Park
  5. Budaiya Public Beach: Awesome playground near the waterfront area.
  6. Seef Mall Playgrounds: These playgrounds are off of a walkway behind the mall and there are 3 separate playground sets for kids to enjoy. This is one of Milo’s favorites that is relatively unknown.
  7. Marina Beach Garden Park
  8. Dragon Mall indoor play center: We have been here a few times and it is very close for families who live in Amwaj. Here, there is a full climbing jungle gym, ball pit, and play stations with different pretend play themes. Plus an added bonus is there is bubble tea galore right across from this play area.
  9. City Center Mall (The Blast)
  10. City Center Mall (Magic Planet)
  11. Honorary Mentions that are not exactly playgrounds but foster so much play and happiness: Base Lego store!! This is not a playground but Milo will spend hours building towers at the Lego tables here. The Train at Mall of Dilmunia: It costs 1.5 BD to ride (about $3.50 USD and is Milo’s favorite thing in all of Bahrain).
